Foreign travel advice and immunisations are provided by our Practice Nurse.
It is important when you are planning to travel abroad that you make an appointment 6 to 8 weeks before you travel.
Please complete the travel form below prior to your appointment. You can also download and print the form.
Please also check that you have enough of your regular medication for the duration of your trip.
The following travel immunisations are available for free on the NHS:
- Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera
The following travel immunisations are not available on the NHS and have to be paid for:
- Hepatitis B (£30.00 per dose – course of four doses)
- Meningitis (40.00)
We do not provide the following travel immunisations:
- Japanese encephalitis
- Rabies
- Tick-borne encephalitis
- Tuberculosis (TB)
- Yellow Fever
